What is Dog Hydrotherapy?
Dog hydrotherapy involves exercises performed in water to promote physical fitness, rehabilitation and overall well-being for dogs. It’s particularly beneficial for conditions like arthritis, joint issues, or post surgery recovery, providing a low-impact environment for effective exercise.

I’ve had such a great experience with K9 Aquatic Therapy and Conditioning! Rick has been amazing with both of my dogs, and I’ve seen incredible results.
My dachshund, Harry, started hydrotherapy as I wanted to strengthen his back and help prevent IVDD. He was a nervous at first, but Rick was so patient and kind with him. Now, Harry confidently walks into the tank on his own and absolutely loves it!
My senior greyhound, Ally, was struggling with weakness in her back legs and having trouble standing up after a difficult surgery recovery. Her chiropractor recommended hydrotherapy, and it has made a huge difference. She was anxious at first, but Rick worked with her at her own pace, and now she’s so much more confident. The best part is that hydrotherapy is low-impact, which is perfect for her since she also has a heart condition. It has allowed her to build strength without putting too much strain on her heart. Her stamina on walks has improved, and she can stand up much faster without her back legs shaking. Even her chiro has noticed the muscle growth.
Rick is incredibly knowledgeable and caring, and I am so grateful for the positive changes I’ve seen in both dogs. Highly recommend!
